How To Get To Paliku Gardens

Anna + Dave

One of our favorite things about a wedding day is getting to see a couple mesh with each other as their love is thriving in full force. Anna and Dave were one of those couples! These two were overflowing with love, aloha and gratitude. Their wedding had a beautiful positive energy and good vibes that spread from Secret Island to Paliku Gardens on their special day.

Love Story

Anna and Dave's love story isn't like one we see in the movies but it is a very beautiful one. They started out as best friends and as they grew closer it blossomed into an unexpected romance. Their commitment and unconditional support for one another lead them to build a strong foundation based on love, god and years of friendship.

The Ceremony

This couple was blessed with an absolutely perfectly day for a wedding in Hawaii. Their tropical inspired wedding was very family, faith and aloha oriented. The ceremony took place on the postcard-worthy Secret Island at Kualoa Ranch. Family and friends helped out with music and florals, and their church minister even performed the ceremony. As soon as their promise was sealed with a kiss and the tears of joy were wiped from their cheeks it was time to celebrate!! Dave even busted a dance move as he walked back down the aisle.

Kualoa Ranch has so many picturesque venues that we LOVE when couples combine them for their special day. Anna and Dave's wedding went from Secret Island to Paliku Gardens. They gave their guests a little taste of a private beach in Hawaii and then finished the day off surrounded by the majestic mountains and lush gardens at Paliku.

The Reception

The couple's island inspired theme carried over to the reception at Paliku Gardens where it continued to spread the aloha. It was a bright and vibrant tropical dream! First of all the design included fresh local florals, island greens, light pinks, along with gold accents and romantic cafe lighting. Aloha Artisans put together a stunning sweetheart table with a cute farm table, two peacock chairs and the hexagonal arch and rug from their ceremony. Together with the tropical florals it was very photo-worthy!

The guests and their energy played a huge roll in this wedding. Everyone was there to support and celebrate the couple's love and have a blast while doing it!  They spent the evening indulging in island inspired food served by Keneke's catering along with sipping on tropical cocktails made by Aloha on the Rocks. The crew from Ring of Fire Hawaii  gave a jaw dropping fire-knife dance performance and finally the evening ended with the guests dancing the night away thanks to killer beats from Bliss DJs Hawaii.

Undoubtedly, the most memorable moment of the day was the couples "first dance." Rather than sharing a traditional first dance they serenaded each other with a rehearsed duet and dance combo. It was out of this world. It was such a beautiful performance that everyone who was there will remember for a lifetime. The beautiful memories created that day were documented from start to finish by the photo team at All Things Joy Photography and the Aloha Films video crew.

It is pretty safe to say that the whole day came together flawlessly. Anna and Dave were so overjoyed and filled with gratitude for the friends, family and vendors who made their wedding so special.
